We are both VERY much owned by Goliath. He is our 1 1/2 yr old Great Dane. He has been truly an unexpected blessing!

There have been so many people that has tiptoed through my life and left prints that are very much a part of me. And like everyone else I know, there has also been those that TRAMPLE over your heart and soul like it is a piece of gum on their shoe; They too left imprints that I have used to become who I am. After many years of heartache, despair and battling the demons I have come to accept them for who they are. I now use what I have learnt to heal!

I am a Registered Nurse and so much love what I do! I am currently practicing as a Private Duty Pediatric Nurse with an amazing 5yr old little boy! For the most part he is a typical little boy but in so many ways he is any anything but typical. He suffers from a disease called Gastroperesis and Visceral Hyperalgesia.

I have practiced Cardiac Telemetry and Diabetic Nursing as well as Oncology. I have learned SO much as a nurse in all of the areas but my passion is Oncology. I will always be an Oncology Nurse at heart. I have been asked so many times how I could possibly be an Oncology nurse? My response is "Why not?"

I lost my 17yr old brother when I was 7 to Medullablastoma. Which is a cancerous tumor of the medulla. He was going to be a wonderful man. The most devastating loss was not until I was in my last 6 months of nursing school, my grandmother lost her battle with recurrent breast cancer in July 1995 and I graduated from nursing school in January 1996.
